Children's Resource Foundation
The Children's Resource Foundation was founded in 1997 and is dedicated to the memory of 'Alice Joyce', a single Mom who suffered hunger, poverty, abuse, and tragedy. Abandoned by one husband, abused and widowed by the second, she raised six children and lost two daughters. She dedicated her entire life to her children. 'Help Change A Child's World' is now in its 25th year of programs helping children to survive hunger, poverty, abuse, tragedy, and disaster.
Help Change A Child's World
This slogan was established on January 1, 1998 as the trademark slogan of the Children's Resource Foundation. The Children's Resource Foundation strives to honor this slogan with everything we do, thereby, creating a wave of hope and aspiration that will grow with each generation.
The Rose
The Children's Resource Foundation adopted the Rose as a symbol to represent the organization on January 1, 1998.
-
The Stem of the Rose depicts life's journey beginning from just a seed and traveling on narrow, sometimes very thorny path
-
The Thorns are the uncertain obstacles of despair, depression, hopelessness and emptiness that must be navigated along the path
-
The Rosebud is the doorway to the realization of the true happiness and peace, the beautiful reward found at the end of life's fascinating journey, symbolized by the unparalleled beauty of the open Rose.
